Yes, there are plenty of opportunities to get professional feedback on your manuscript.  There are three 1 hour coaching sessions with me (The Book Doula) where you can submit your work to be read ahead of time.

Absolutely not - group coaching is not mandatory as part of the program. These sessions are for students who have specific questions. By nature they are a highly supportive environment and there is cabinet solidarity - everyone agrees prior to the call and as part of their enrolment to respect each other and to keep anything discussed during these calls confidential.

After helping so many authors I know EVERY book happens at the pace the author decides it will create at. Divine timing is always at play here, but it's also really dependent on how quickly you want to get results and how focused and committed you are.  I've seen students see results within hours of joining this program, and others take a little longer. The program is designed to meet you where you are at and ensure you get the result.

You also get two opportunities to submit your in progress work for my professional feedback.  Creatives are EXCELLENT procrastinators ( I should know, I am one!) and will find every excuse under the sun NOT to write, so I find this cheeky strategy of capping your 1:1 support with me to 90 days WORKS. In saying that, if you want to take your time and cruise along, that's entirely fine too and plenty of creatives have chosen to do that for various (good) reasons. Unlike other writing programs, I focus on helping you step into the role of author.  This includes teaching you a range of sales strategies to help sell your book on demand, build a strong and engaging personal brand and reach your ideal reader. 

That’s really up to you. You get out what you put into this program. The course content is designed to be self paced and meet you exactly where you are at on your book journey.

If you’re still at the writing or idea stage, I recommend at least 20 minutes per day in writing time, and about 2 hours per week to complete the course content.

I have had plenty of students do this program while juggling ALL kinds of major priorities and what could have potentially been 'obstacles' to their success.
