Ignite Your Creativity is an intensive writing retreat weekend for writers of all stages, genres and levels of experience.  Whether you are just starting out or working on a second or third book, you will benefit immensely from this special event.  

 

This weekend allows you the space, support, and nourishment to unlock the story within.

 

This retreat is perfect if you’ve always wanted to write a book, have a book idea or have started writing but found yourself feeling stuck. If you’re looking to better understand how to market yourself as an author and improve your publishing and sales opportunities, this retreat will also assist.

Meet your Retreat Facilitator

Vanessa is a creative entrepreneur, brand and marketing strategist, psychic medium and book doula. She is the founder of the highly successful Book Doula Program and Healing House Publishing and is on a mission to heal the world through stories!

Vanessa helps aspiring and established authors from all capabilities, genres and backgrounds.  The common thread to most stories that find her is that they are often trauma-related, carry a healing message or are a story born from healing.

She has directly published 10 books, coached and supported hundreds of aspiring authors through her masterclasses, podcast and her flagship Book Doula Program.

She combines her unique blend of gifts and connection to spirit to gently coach and guide others to unlock the story within and gain the confidence and strategy needed to effectively promote their story and ensure it finds its perfect readership.  

Outside of work Vanessa is a mum to two beautiful daughters, happily married, an avid foodie (so expect great meals!) and a lifelong traveller. Her coaching style is genuine, motivating and very nurturing.

Vanessa holds space for and gently guides clients from all around the world and is an experienced workshop and event facilitator, having facilitated workshops/retreats in Northern NSW and India.

About the location

Nestled on the mountaintop of a 120-acre family farm, you will arrive at a majestic luxury pavilion-style villa offering total privacy and peace from the outside world.

This property has enough space across 3 wings for you to spread out, seek solace, or connect with others in a nourishing and supportive environment.

This residence is furnished with a blend of Balinese, industrial and eclectic features – each room and piece of furniture truly carries its own story and has a unique character.

Just 15 minutes from Mullumbimby, Brunswick Heads and the pristine beaches of the Byron Shire you will hardly believe you’re so close to everything this incredible region has to offer.

Eagles Nest is located 40-50 minutes from Gold Coast Airport and Ballina Airport
